There are no words for how excited I was to listen to this! Your two shows are my first podcast loves. I discovered both shows via Feminist Twitter (namely the badass Olivia Femme Esquire ), which was my gateway drug to Black Twitter and living my best black-ass life. Thank the four of you for making my podcast superhero crossover dreams come true! Love you guys! -Renate M/@elreknot
Hey Karen and Rod,
Another great week of podcasting. Really enjoyed the episode with Queen and J.
Don’t have much to say other than I love and appreciate y’all. I know you hear it all the time from various folk, but I wanted you to hear it from me this week too.
Keep doing what ya doing
Peace,
Anthony
Hey Rod and Karen! I loved this episode one of my favorites but hell I say that about all the episodes then I listen to the next one…anyway..Queen and J are my new play cousins. I just subscribed to their podcast! I enjoyed their quick wit, thoughtfulness and it felt like I was sitting with some friends hanging out on my porch. I appreciate that you all keep introducing your listeners to new voices and perspectives on the black experience. Keep up the good work!
Bless Up!

Hi Rod and Karen,
I just had to let you know how much I loved this episode and enjoyed being introduced to Queen and J. The laughter, insight and awareness of these ladies was fantastic. When you combined Karen, I was in black woman heaven. Needless to say I immediately subscribed to Queen and J’s podcast. Let me tell you that this recommendation continued my black podcast excellence experience of connection. It started with a black woman turning me on to Nina and the PFC, who then turned me on to TBGWT, who turned me on to What’s the Tea, MTR and Black Astronauts. This exposure has proven costly because I’ve had to jump on everyone’s premium content, but I don’t give a hot black damn because y’all deserve all the money. Keep up the top notch work.
