   The Butler Movie really sounds like “Forrest Gump” meets “The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer”, whereas in Gump, it chronicles multiple critical events in history through one man’s perspective. I don’t know if they’ll cut Whitaker into actual moments in history like they did with Hanks, but the potential to do so is there. The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer was supposed to be on UPN and was about one of Lincoln’s slaves solving problems in the White House.

   It does seem like it will be epic, but I can’t get that comparison out of my head.
