I know I’m late on this conversation, but me and my wife got married in 2003 when I was 18 and in the process of going into the military. We got married in cali and we had to go to a officiant to tie the know. That dude was the creepiest motherfucker I’ve ever met and there was huge ass cat staring at us while we were giving our vows. Like ya’ll we were fortunate enough to find another person who was down to make the commitment about us and not about people who don’t have to put the time and effort into the relationship.
I feel your pain. I was a nerd in school and i did homework for weed. Not my proudest moments but everyone has to start somewhere. I never had any instances of being called white because where I’m from in cleveland the white people might as well been black
