I feel like I should elaborate on my last comment. In regards to Elizabeth Hasslebeck asking if Sandra Bland could have used her cigarette as a weapon, of course she got some backlash for saying that ridiculous mess. But of course Whoopi and Raven was there stanning for her. Whoopi has designated herself as the Queen of what is and what is not racist. Raven had the nerve to say people are way too sensitive but I recall a few weeks ago she got into a heated debate with Candice Cameron Bure for defending the bakery who wouldn’t bake a cake for the gay wedding. She even went as far as to tell Candice she didn’t want to associate with her. She was all in her feelings. Of course that bakery was dead as wrong but it was an issue that mattered to her, and I just don’t appreciate her trying to belittle an issue that matters to so many people like our right to live. So again I say fuck Raven and Whoopi. I hope the View is cancelled soon so we don’t have to deal with their ridiculous asses anymore.
Fuck Whoopi and Raven. That is all.
This is why this podcast is cool. During the segment on Talib and Bomani, Rod mentions that Mr. Jones will be calling in to discuss this. He didn’t call in, but in the meantime, something is mentioned about how Hot 97 was supposed to get a call from (I think) Meek Mill – which also never happened.
Did I put 2 and 2 together at the moment? Nope. Did Rod say anything to call this into focus? If he did, I missed it. It wasn’t until I listened to “The Evening Jones” that everything was made clear. It was like the end of “Usual Suspects” (hopefully that’s not a spoiler). A “bonus” joke, if you will.
Either that, or I wasn’t paying close enough attention. Either way, “bravo”!
Back in the day, I used to hate Rosie O’Donnell. I used to see short videos of her on The View and thought she was over-the-top. My whole opinion changed when I fucked around the watch an episode and saw how stupid Barbara Walters and Elizabeth Hasselback be acting. I realized that a progressive-leaning person wouldn’t last on that show for long. I don’t think Rosie Perez has even been there that long and she’s ready to go. Who would want to sit there and argue with idiots like Whoopi and Raven? Lastly, has Whoopi’s voice always sounded like that? That shit sounds new to me.
