Niggas…that was a great episode. I’m glad Karen brought up the topic about health. A couple years ago I went to the doctor for a physical because it had been years since I got one. I was 28 at the time and the doctor found out I had high blood pressure. What’s funny is that I’ve never experienced the symptoms of HBP but it does run in my family. Since I felt fine I never made it a point to go get checked out. The doctor I went to was black, and he made it a point to tell me how I need to fix this issue now so I’m not almost dead in my 40s. He even made the comment that we as black men usually don’t focus on our health until it’s too late. I appreciate yall talking about it and the motivational people in the facebook group. It really is something we need to focus on because as the last few years have proven black people are dying earlier and it really shouldn’t be like that anymore.
On a more serious note, a while ago there was a poll in the facebook group regarding Cardi B or Joseline. Going off of only visual evidence, I chose Joseline (I don’t watch the show yet so I didn’t know the character of either lady). I am here today to ask for forgiveness. Now that I’ve seen some clips of Cardi B I understand that I was walking in sin. I vision a day where yall allow me to sit in the Church of Cardi B, faheva.
