Karen was right about Slavery in England. There were African slaves in England (and pretty much all of the European imperial powers). We were a British colony, after all, and it was the Europeans who drove the African Slave trade in the first place. Many of the African slaves were brought to the Americas to gather raw resources, but some were brought to Europe, often to work as domestic servants.
