My favorite part about the fourth of July besides the cookouts is the next day when I read stories about morons improperly using firecrackers and losing body parts. I admit it. I ain’t shit.
When you replayed the Jesse Williams speech, I almost chocked on my for for laughter! I love this Podcast! Also, I celebrate Juneteenth and the fourth every year. I’m with you Karen.
I voted no, because I haven’t lately. I don’t ever plan anything, but if someone has a rooftop to watch the fire works, I’ll go. Call me a lazy New Yorker. So I guess it’s a “sometime” for me, lol!
Chay-Chay
My family parties on the 4th, it was a big family birthday. And we roll deep.
This year, while we grilled in Orange Mound, the neighbor threw a slammin party across the street on the 3rd. Had a live band in the front yard. Cars parked everywhere. Then fireworks, and finally a DJ. So live.
And all around the Mound, there were fireworks going off all night on the 3rd and 4th.
