Justin you don’t need to worry about the Warriors re-signing Steph. They have his Bird rights so they can go over the cap to re-sign him, and can pay him more than any other team even if they give Durant the max. And the reason the young kids are taking these long deals is it’s the most they can get with the new CBA coming off their rookie deal. So you go from making $5 mill a year to 25 and you’ll be a free agent again at 27 in your prime? You better take that shit!
And y’all brought up why I can’t be mad at KD. I’m listening to people kill Melo all the time for re-signing with my Knicks and knowing he’s not going to get a ring. His options were stay in OKC and get clowned if they don’t win, or going to Cali and catch hell for chasing a ring. As long as the money’s the same, I’m picking the better city and team every time.
