I have a confession to make. The song you played for the White People News segment from the Go-Go’s was my jam from back in the day and is my permanent go-to Karoke song. Please don’t judge.
And, yes, that smug, self-important, white supremacist, needed to be punched in the face. Racist groups like that take advantage of people’s tendency to back down for fear of being labeled violent to protect themselves from being called out. As someone else put it, they take our peacefulness as acceptance. I don’t know if you know this but they found old articles he wrote for a conservative website that actually questioned the value of black people to civilization and called for black genocide. So, no, I don’t need to hear his explanation of why he uses a stupid frog as a symbol. He can choke on a frog instead. What makes me angry is the fact that people give him money to do this. He receives donations for his non-profit racist organization. From people or foundations who think this is worthwhile. Trump’s America, y’all.
Which brings me to the fact that Trump has yet to sincerely reject these people. He has given a wishy washy rejection but nothing strong enough to say he doesn’t agree with what they believe in. I could go on but I would only be repeating what others have said. Good show as always, the two of you are a good balance to what I hear the rest of the day.
