While not my favorite Spielberg movie, I had a good time with RPO. Lots of easter eggs, action & solid acting from start to finish. With most of the movie being in CGI, I was a bit concerned with it going in, but it didn’t bother me at all. Also, I love the twist that they did with The Shining, I’m still laughing at that bit of the film.
I feel like y’all know me. You both are absolutely right: I know nothing about anime and I don’t like Ant Man, because it’s too childish for me. I’m more of a Civil War and Punisher type of Marvel fan. And the only reason why I saw the latest Pacific Rim is because my husband is a big anime fan and it was his turn to pick a movie for date night. Based on your review of Ready Player One, i think I’ll wait until it comes out on DVD and watch it in the comfort of my own home and pajamas. Thank you!
