The Nerd Off: (Protected Content)
Well, well, well, well.
The last Nerd Off, I wrote in to say I was going to see Infinity War for the second time and I was told I had no soul. But Rod you’ve seen it what, 3 times now? I saw it 3 times too. I guess we both in the Soul gem! That movie was FIRE! The first Avengers ended with the Thanos smile and so did Infinity War. Gotdamn Thanos is a beast. Who gets the, didn’t want no smoke award? Wong or Hulk? Hulk is still a kid mentally, but Wong just stayed at home chilling. I gotta give it to Wong.
By the way, they just announced The Expanse didn’t get renewed by SyFy. Fuck. Thanos got them too, dust in the wind.

Hello Karen and Kris,
Now the podcast is perfectly balanced. Whew that Infinity Wars, I was not ready it had me feeling emotions I did not know existed. How is it in 2018 I get more humanity from a CGI raccoon than a live action Superman?
Speaking of CGI, you guys are pretty smart, probably have passports and stuff. What is the accent Tom Hardy doing in Venom? It varies between drunk Boston and stroke victim.
One last thing, I know you hate comparing the shows. But how can Agents of Shield handle a cast of thousands and give everybody something to do but Flash struggles with it’s core group. And to piggy back off of what Kris said in a recent podcast. Does Iris has the subscriber numbers to be the sole source of warning the city of impending doom?
Maybe Beebo watch over you all, later.

So I’m in Charlotte for Nerd Off Con Orgy! Now I don’t mean to be that guy but uhhh it’s today and uhh… I still haven’t gotten my tickets yet. I just want to know who’s in charge of the money here. And will you at least still be screening the Snyder cut? I don’t want to have send a poorly written cease and desist on the pod for destroying the intellectual property. What’s the deal?
And, it’s been two weeks. Rod we need to know, did you coon it up and see Infinity War more times than Black Panther? It’s ok, this is a safe space. I thought I was good with two and then I started hitting them Ebony Maw bars in my head all week and watching LeBron go full Thanos I had to go again. This nigga giving the most disrespectful head pats of all-time. Fuck a moviepass just give me a Disney Pass because they’re just running my pockets. Black Panther is out on digital already and it’s still hanging around the top 5 in theaters. Avengers is about to hit 1.5 billion and it didn’t even open in China yet. Kriss might have lowballed them with that $7 billion number.
Alright y’all have a good week, and appreciate everything y’all have done for a non-existent community. In all seriousness though I do want to thank you. It’s a lot of work that goes into all of this and just know we’re grateful for all of it. Y’all doing the damn thing the right way.
Sup, nerds. Snap your fingas. Do ya step. Put your expectations on the shelf.
Yo, I been going back and listening to the old Nerd Offs, currently listening to episode 69, “Nintendo Switch”. Ya’ll was talking about Luke Cage just coming out on Netflix and Billy D. Williams forcing Tim Burton’s racist ass to put him in his movie.
Anyway, #DatWar. I listened to ya’lls Spoiler Review, and yeah. It’s like leaving the theater after watching “12 Years A Slave” or “Room” (2016) starring Brie Larson, or just finishing Kendrick Lamar’s “To Pimp A Butterfly” for the first time. Yeah, it was well made, but…my emotions…nigga, MY E-MO-TIONS!!!!! If you can watch that over and over again, you’re more stable than me, I guess.
This film gave a master class on many things, in particular, having a CGI villain. Justice League should take notes. The textures on the skin, the weight of his face in his jowls and his chin was well represented. The folds in his forehead and chin. Shout-out to Direct Dimensions (3D scanning), Industrial Light & Magic an ‘nem. And Josh Brolin just killed it. He brought that gravitas. We been waiting on this dude since 2012, and they delivered. The entire film? Subverting expectations and far exceeding them at every turn.
Aight, niggas,
Dazz
Heyyyyyyy, I think this is my first Nerd-off. I hope I can keep up with the nerd community.
Also, how you do DPalm like that?
