Hello Rod, Justin, and hopefully Karen,

This isn’t a long feedback. I just wanted to let y’all know that I have saved this episode of the Pre-Game. It’s just a GOOD episode!! Between Rod telling a wild ass story, and Justin falling out with the ad-libs, it’s cracking me up. I listened yesterday, and I’m re-listening as I type this. Please keep it up!!

I was gonna make a comment about that hateful post you all mentioned on that website, but why bother? What’s understood doesn’t need to be said. Look forward to listening to y’all soon!

    Rod, Karen, j thrill
    Greetings….

First and foremost, Karen congrats on the new employment, Hope the transition is going well, it’s a pleasure to still have you able to drop in with the fellas.

Secondly, I finished typewriter, on Netflix, it’s 5 episodes and not scary at all! These white people be lyinggggggg lol.

Thirdly snowfall is flames still, fuck that black cop (I forget his name)! How they did Jerome was wrong but that was the 80s and that is today! I love me some Louie tho, she be wanting all the smoke!

Fourth! I don’t watch love and hip hop any city, and just get the scoop from listening to y’all! But for some reason I was interested in this new show that started last week called love and listings. 2 words…. THE GHETTO….. THE GHETTO. It’s about the real estate industry in la dealing with athletes and celebs purchasing homes from the top firms in La. suge Knights son is on the show. So far in the first 2 shows we have seen Sean Kingston, Vanessa Simmons, joe hayden (nfl) and brand will be on an upcoming episode. Just have you seen this? Come on Monday’s on vh1 10pm.

Lastly the walking dead season 10 starts October 6. A bit earlier than usual. I read an article this morning from Forbes! And like I told you on fear twd feedback, gimple got his hands all over fear and the man who wrote the article spoke about “gimple talk” and how it hurt walking dead , in season 7&8 and once he left season 9 was way better. Gimple talk is those phrases who constantly hear the actors say throughout the show that we have grown tired of, I also think it’s the convenient walkers and escape route we see throughout the shows that in real life, would have killed that actor. He is now saying “gimple talk” is hurting fear twd. We gotta get this guy off the whole franchise!

You guys have a good one

Hi Rod, Justin and new job permitting, Karen,

I just wanted to share a two thoughts.

    1. I keep forgetting to recommend Marsha’ Plate’s podcast review of each episode of Pose. The podcast is hosted by transgender people of color and it is both informative and entertaining. I remember Justin’s question about Candy and lip syncing and whether it actually originated as portrayed on screen. While maybe not done exactly as seen on Pose, I found out through Marsha’s Plate that it was originated by Black, Transgender Women, as was so much of what is famous from the ball scene. They talked about the struggle the black, trans, women had to go through to have their ideas and work recognized and accepted. The cast gave me a new understanding and appreciation for why Transgender people are so furious at RuPaul and his Drag Race show since his refusal to have Transgender people on his show when The Lip Sync for Your Life segment is literally the most consistently talked about moments of the show. They rightly view his actions as a form of erasure (I guess it is a double erasure considering that RuPaul is black).

    2. I can’t wait to hear you talk about The Boys. That show is so damned good. I’m thrilled it got renewed for a second season. Hopefully HBO’s Watchmen will be as good.

    Whats up Rod and Justin,

I watched that Love you, now die on HBO thanks to your suggestion. I still feel two ways about that case. Like I am not sure if you can talk someone into suicide. But if you can she damn sure succeeded. I also loved the juxtaposition of people hating her for convincing someone to commit suicide. Yet people taunted her by telling her to kill herself. Also did you watch Who Killed Garrett Phillips? Its the one about the black man accused of killing that 12 year old white boy and the police had no evidence other than the fact that his racist family and themselves wanted it to be him. There were many moments of that would be a black person’s horror movie. But the craziest by far was the prosecutor who believed he ran a the world’s fastest half mile to kill this boy. I would definitely recommend it. Great show as always.
