Oh my god Rod and Karen
I just have to say how amazing that scene with Leti(Jurnee) helping her ancestors(diasporally speaking i call them that cause technically they were ,since they were tortured and murdered by that sick fuck of a doctor experimenting on all of them) the brilliance of her character helping the victims get some sort of justice and peace by helping get rid of the doctor who was also a ghost was truly amazing. I loved how once Leti realized what was done to those people she wanted to help the victims and also in turn help the living black people she was trying to help by opening the boarding house .
Misha and her writers are doing an amazing job with this show. Also, Rod and Karen I wanted to recommend the official show podcast for you guys – “Lovecraft Country Radio hosted by Ashley Ford and Shannon Houston(one of the writers on the show) its really dope and informative.
This show just keeps better and better. While I would have liked something to have happened to that racist ass cop I loved seeing those white boys getting theirs in the end. I kind of figured Letitia was a virgin after there was blood during her encounter with Tic. I’m sure that’s not the kind of WAP he had in mind but this definitely makes her character so nuanced and I love that about this show. Can’t wait for the next episode.
