This episode had my stomach hurting so bad!
I’m mad that I now know what an Autoblower is. I thought that the fleshlight was the highest technology for dicks, but, lo and behold, I was so wrong. When Rod was disgusted at the thought of cleaning out the Autoblower, I was hit!!! Such a great episode! Thank you again Rod and Karen!

Your girl was down bad these past couple weeks. I was sicker than I’ve been in a long time because I rarely get sick. And the crazy thing is, I don’t know if I had covid or not. I got a call from my kid’s school that she had been exposed to covid so I had to take her out of school to quarantine. She had no symptoms but I took her to the pediatric urgent care to get tested and she was negative. Thanks to vaccinations. But there were a bunch of sick people in the waiting room coughing with their masks down.

A few days later she and her dad were still fine but I was coughing up a storm. I had a bad cough and no energy. I couldn’t walk my dog for more than a few hundred feet before feeling like I wanted to pass out. So I had a cough and fatigue. I went to the doctor who gave me medicine for the symptoms but all the testing centers in my area had wait times that were up to three to five hours to get in for a test. I just didn’t have the strength to wait that long so I quarantined and stayed home and kept my kid out of school. Finally felt better and got an appt at a drive through place and got tested. Negative test but I don’t know if I had covid or not. Testing everywhere is a mess. On the bright side I was only sick for a week and a half and I never had a fever, never lost smell or taste and my breathing was just fine. I credit being vaccinated for that. Y’all be safe out there.

I was so tickled by that sex toy robbery story because that happened in my town about 3 miles from my house. I’ve been in that exact sex shop before and I think they had booths to watch x rated videos. You could smell the jizz when you walk in. Haven’t been back in a while so don’t know if those rooms are still there. But those AI toys are nothing compared to some of the things I’ve seen. Lol

The PeePee sipper, Eric Roberts, is Julia Roberts’ brother. Divining his own piss for 23 years? That’s how long ago I graduated from college. He had a whole ass career of drinking urine. He’s like the C.E.O. of that shit.

Surprised you didn’t play the tastes like piss yoto me sound clip.

Thank you for talking about the walkout that NYC Public School students had the other day. My youngest kiddo goes to one of NYC’s specialized high schools (super intensive academically, you have to take a special test but that’s another rant), and adults were complaining about the kids walking out. They said that that the kids should be expelled, because it was a “privilege” to go to this academically intense high school. The kids, rightfully so, told those adults to “f*ck off” because most of the adults wouldn’t be able to pass the admissions test to even attend. (My 14 year old is taking physics. They showed me their notes and it looked like the alien language from Stargate, but I digress.) It makes me so angry that whenever kids want to protest or express their opinions about policies that affect them, adults treat them as they have no rights at all. These are the same adults who don’t wear masks “because their body, their choice” or think that having a vaccine card is akin to wearing a yellow star. Last time I checked, there was nothing in the Constitution that said you can only have rights if you’re over a certain age. I think they targeted my kiddo’s school with those types of taunts because 97% of the student population is Asian. (The reason to everything in racism, sexism, homophobia or “I’m a white man-ism” in my book.)

I know it is very saddening and frustrating to keep reading all of the Coronavirus news, but I really appreciate it, Rod and Karen. When I hear the news stories and then your opinions, I don’t feel like I’m screaming in the void all alone. I get daily emails from both my kids’ high schools about exposures and positive cases, and I have to pray that the email doesn’t include a warning that my kid was one of the ones exposed.

I know I joke a lot about being a public librarian and being a New Yorker, but it’s been fucking hard during this pandemic. NYC (and NYS) is not as “blue” as everyone thinks it is. It never has been. I live in the reddest part of Brooklyn. My congressional district is the only red congressional district in NYC. I also grew up in the 70s and 80s where NYC was very homophobic, xenophobic, and racist. Those people didn’t just fade away. They’re older, more conservative, and they vote.

The convergence of the red and the conspiracy theorists of all hues makes working with the public even more hostile and unpredictable. People yell at us at the library when we tell them to wear their mask. They get violent. They start shouting psuedo science, and taking our picture to post on whatever secret website. There’s also been incidents of people coughing and spitting in our direction, because “COVID isn’t as bad as the flu.” Now we have a mayor who is determined to end mandates for vaccination and to re-open the city to the same degree it was open before the pandemic as though we don’t have the highest numbers of positive Omicron-COVID cases. It frustrates me on a level that brings me to tears most days.

Anywho…I’m sorry if I brought the mood down. Just know you’re appreciated.

    Peace.

    OMG!!!

Did mother fuckers fail biology in school????

They had to if they think that it’s ok for you to drink the number one process to remove waste…..notice I said WASTE from your human body?!?!?!

I am so sick of humans. They are reaching for ANY excuse to not take the vaccine. I hate it here on earth.

    The ghetto!!!!!

I can see the similarities between Poland and the US.
There is absolutely the religion playing a way too important role even if the Polish brand of religion is almost exclusively catholic.
Also, of American people, Polish people and German people the Germans are the least racist I would say and that’s saying a lot it you remember that’s where the original Nazis were created.
The Germans overall at least try. They create systems that are supposed to help and often do.

I’m American, but I have a scholarship to do research in Poland this academic year. It reminds me of America in a lot of (bad) ways. When I was getting a cab from the train station to move into my apartment, the driver told me he didn’t care if I wore a mask because “he’s not afraid of Covid.” He then told me how he’d gotten Covid twice and how it had stopped his athletic career. I kept my KN-95 on.
Omicron hasn’t really hit here yet; I’m pretty worried what’s going to happen. I live in a part of the country that has some of the lowest vaccination rates.

Poland has a right wing government and is also extremely religious. Like pray the covid away religious.
My family in Poland is vaccinated but otherwise I don’t have much trust in my country of origin.
