I can see that being anti Vax is a part of of the problematic whitness in the US.
But covid is a global problem and other countries with other racial dynamics have their share of idiots too. It’s not exclusive American.
About toad licking.
There was even a Simpsons episode about it. I haven’t tried it. ( I don’t think European toads can do that. Just imagine myself stalking some toads here outside just to notice I just licked a toad for nothing again 🙂 )

If all people behaved it would still be here but would be manageable.
