Hey Rod and Karen! I’m commenting before I even listen. I was so happy to see this Fear recap show up on the website! Daniel is one of my favorite Fear characters so I was happy to see him front and center in this episode. Just hearing Ofelia’s name made me sad all over again how Daniel just missed seeing Ofelia before she died. Well, off to listen! Thanks again for holding us down in these Fear streets. -Karena aka TootieTaurus
I’ve been meaning to respond to these, sorry for leaving y’all so lonely.
First off, great recaps. Really fun and they provide something beyond the show itself. I don’t listen to any other recap shows, because they are generally crap. Yours, however, are amazing.
Second, your comment about how this episode was straightforward… I can see how you would not miss any information by cutting it down to fifteen minutes, however this episode reminded me of Poe. It wasn’t about what happened as much as it was a vessel for evoking a certain feeling. In this case, every part of the episode helped you feel what Salazar was going through. In fact, so much so that you seemed to confuse Ofelia and Lucy throughout your review.
