Hi Rod and Karen! As a Native Yorker and extreme homebody for the last few years, I loved hearing about the cool places you went. So glad that you had such an amazing time on your well deserved vacation. Brooklyn Chop House is in the city (not in BK) so your Soho house story made me giggle because NY is amazing and randomly confusing. I made a Yelp list with many of the places you mentioned, and since eating out is one of my fave things to do (when relatively safe), this will be part of my farewell tour before I leave NY for good later this year. Can’t wait for the next episode!

So glad you were able to try so many different things here in New York!
I had an absolute blast with you at Aldo Sohm Wine Bar. To be honest I can’t pronounce the wine names either, so let’s just say a sparkling wine, two red wines, and a port, lol. The meal came straight out of the “I saved a crapload of money not going out for the past two years” fund, definitely VERY well spent.
Loved the episode, and looking forward to checking out some of the other places you visited!
