Ok so I just watched with my movie group so came back to this review and yall are spot on. But on top of that…this movie was so sloppily made that they called it yogurtworld and changed the song on the building, but all the cups said Menchies and Jaime Fox was wearing a Menchies sticker in the next shot. Shit pissed me off. But I can’t lie I had a good time and good laugh and love the brothers.
Having being disappointed with Bodies, Bodies, Bodies, Day Shift was a nice respite. The story & characters are more rushed than badly made fries, the action is diverting enough to make me not give a shit about it. I will say this, however: How the fuck do you have Scott Adkins in here & not have him do more? Same for Natasha Bordizzo & Dave Franco, especially Franco, who’s comedic enough. ‘Tasha was Bushido Blading people & I wanted more of that. Karen was dead-on about Snoop being himself. Props to him mini-gunning niggas, but, yeah. It’s fine, but that’s it.
