My week was full of dr appointments and needles, but I GOT THAT NEW-NEW! Lmao. Oh yeah, & my flu shot. I plan to be as protected as possible this winter!
I can’t wait to get the new booster. I’ve just gotta wait for a day off to get it. And it’s even more imperative that I get it cause I live with immunocompromised family members.
The name is Nahom. I checked again. Nit Naham. So I still haven’t learned it.
About Janelle James: we are watching Abbott elementary now, the show is so funny and she is great in it. The character of Ava has New Orleans major vibes for sure!
I agree that Americans are crazy about weddings and marriage. People seem to go to weddings a lot.
In the last 10 years maybe 3 couples we know got married and the people were way past 30.
I try not to be racist in my life so thats a good . But of course I judge if I was racist with my own brain and this brain was raised in a racist society.
So maybe I give you here an example of
“Am I the racist?”
In my son’s new class is one black boy.
I asked him his name when they stood in front of the school and he told me. I immediately thought I dont think I can remember that. Never heard this kind of name.
I met him again with his dad 2 days after and asked if he would tell me the name again I didn’t hear it right the last time.
He was annoyed and said i told you already. For sure because he has to say his name over and over and he is the one black boy in class. The name is Naham. Now I found a list with the name on it and thought I should have done it after asking the first time instead of making him feel bad.
AITR?
Oh no now I think I’m racist for asking this question here. Something with expecting black people to educate me. Now my brain is shutting down. Peep, peep, peeeeep.
I don’t feel like you were being racist by asking your sons classmate what his name was again. I think you just wanted to know how to saying right.
