One thing about that Eminem response is that you all didn’t really mention the Game. I think the first part of that diss verse was related to interviews/lyrics that the Game had done recently about being better than Em, and that he didn’t really hear Em being played in the clubs and he wasn’t really hot in the streets. I think he also brought up that Top 5 thing. That’s why Em said that the reason “he” was played in the clubs was because he still performed in them.

When I was really into going to church in the early 2000s, I learned that “turn the other cheek” was an insult. Showing the person that the slap is so weak that they could smack the other side without causing pain.
Yes! I meant that Jesus seemed rather chill and of course the hard-core evangelical Christians are not about that! He said love your enemy and help the poor and stuff like that. I dont go to church anymore but was raised very Christian so I know most things Jesus said sound very different from the evangelicals.
I absolutely believe in climate change and how dangerous it is. But when all the predictions for the summer of 23 were that it will be the hottest and driest ever and we get a really cold and extremely wet one, I start to think that humans are terrible in predictions of weather at this time. It’s too complex.
I get what you say that most words are not the n word. But the German word for gypsy, I would not even use for an example. I would most likely call it the z word in Germany. The word gypsy is completely different from it so it felt safe enough. It feels extremely wrong to say the German version. So it might be a close one.
Shakira had a song named Gypsy.
It had those beautiful lyrics:
“Cause I’m a gypsy, are you coming with me?
I might steal your clothes and wear them if they fit me
Never made agreements just like a gypsy.”
All the stereotypes. And she didn’t get in trouble so it must be different in America.
