Pete Davidson. I would at that point think that his fans are mostly female? That they come to the shows to see if he lives up to the hype.
As someone who has a turtle in the apartment (it’s my man’s son’s pet, which he didn’t take when he moved out), I can attest that they are filthy creatures! Cleaning the turtle tank will give you that impression, lol. I can’t even imagine kissing or cuddling a turtle, yuck!!!!!
I’m so glad that you do LGBTQ+ news. Just a comment on the rainbow socks and letting people know what you’re about. As someone in recovery who attends 12-step meetings on Zoom, it was brought to our attention that at our meeting – a largely hetero normative space –there was an attendee who didn’t feel too comfortable in our meeting. No hostility, just wasn’t sure if it was “OK” to be there. They usually had the camera off and didn’t get called on to share. So at that point, I started adding the “she/her” to my screen name – just so they knew that there was someone there who was with them and that it was OK to be there. It wasn’t much but I wanted them to know and I wanted the meeting to know that it was important that we be welcoming to all people with a drug and alcohol problem. My husband joined and at first he got ridiculed, but then those people came around. I think just like if you see people being openly gay and trans it makes you think you can be also, maybe when people see others acting with compassion, that can be catchy too. All this to say, wear those rainbow socks!
