I think Jonathan Major’s career is basically over. He may probably get work here and there, mostly black projects but I doubt it will be on the same trajectory as it was before. I do believe he’s guilty of at least past abuse so I don’t feel too bad about it and while the double standard sucks in that a white actor would probably continue to get work, instead of wishing he gets let off the hook because white actors are, we should wish more white actors would be held accountable as well.
The parents of that two year old who was forced to reenact Rosa parks getting arrested have shown so much more restraint than I would have because hands would be laid on that teacher if that was my child.

The consequences are the exception. And that we even get some consequences sometimes is pretty new.
Every abuser should face consequences, this stuff with Ezra Miller was disgusting for example. That person seems to be a manipulative criminal and that’s bad even if it’s the best actor ever.
If Majors was convinced on some old incident instead of that one on trial he could legally fight it but I see it’s messy. But we really don’t know what evidence the jury has seen.
Some things changed for the better, Weinstein will likely die in prison for his crimes and he was a very powerful white man.
