At least NBA young boy is honest. I don’t think anyone who has several children with a bunch of different baby mamas is really interested in fatherhood and that includes Nick cannon because how can you effectively parent several children in different households. Someone is bound to be neglected. It’s all about ego with these types of men.
People have been coming for Vivica Fox all week because of what she allegedly said. People were coming for her career as if she wasn’t in Independence Day and Kill Bill and Soul Food. She’s had iconic roles. People who are perpetually online just be making shit up.
Don Lemon is coming out with a show on Twitter? We will never hear from him again. Doesn’t Tucker Carlson have a show on Twitter? Remember when he used to go viral every week because of the dumbass shit he used to say? Anyone heard from him lately? I haven’t.
Five Stars for this episode.
Listening to y’all talk about the verbal abuse — i’m not surprised it’s trending upwards. A lot of us parents are well aware that it’s not okay to hit our children, and there are lots of societal repercussions to doing so. But yelling and screaming, seem to be still on the “that’s what parents do” table for many parents. It’s sort of like the “well at least I don’t hit them” kind of mentality (which is dangerous, but definitely out there). I can also see it as a rebellion against the “gentle parenting ” trend, which I’ve heard people say means you are abdicating responsibility (I don’t agree). I can see lots of parents not even understanding that yelling can even be abusive.
Hearing that it can be so damaging was surprising though. TIt makes sense — I can’t try to teach my kid about controlling big feelings when I don’t, right? hanks for bringing it to my attention!
I saw some video yesterday saying you shouldn’t pour pasta water down your drain for the same reason – starch buildup. Respectfully, no, I won’t be doing that. What else am I supposed to do with my pasta water? Dig a hole out back and give it back to the earth? The video suggested giving it to your houseplants or your garden, and there’s no way I’m gonna have plants in my house stinking like old spaghetti, or attracting critters outside with my pasta-enriched tulips.
I dump my weird non-toxic organic waste liquids on the neighbor’s tree that is growing through my fence…
We dont have garbage disposals here in Germany, I’ve never seen one in a kitchen here ever. Wonder why that is.
Verbal abuse. I doubt that it really goes up or if the scientists in the past didn’t even ask about it in the past. Like they didn’t even care about it.
I dont yell at my kids regularly but it happened few times, not often. I always apologized.
I think its important to talk about it but it’s hard to be perfect at it.
Oh, garbage disposals are even banned in Europe I just found out, they see them as a danger for the pipes and environment. We do compost in a bin and use the compost for garden plants and separate the trash like good Germans do.
