It’s always great when Brandon is on the shows. He’s so funny.
I think this will be the first year I’m not watching the Oscars. I’m just tired of being disappointed.
Nicki Minaj is basically what happens when you surround yourself with yes men who won’t tell you to chill out. And I’m sure a lot of people won’t agree but after listening to Meg’s song hiss a handful of times I don’t think the song was even about Nicki. The Megan’s law line could apply to any of these rappers that are alleged to be messing with young girls, especially Drake who has been looked at for his association with that kid from stranger things. If there was anything in that song about Nicki it was most likely the line about people beefing with Meg and Meg doesn’t even know what the problem is. But regardless of who Megan was talking about it doesn’t matter anymore because Nicki made it about herself with her bizarre rant for three days straight and I think she’s still going. Megan doesn’t ever have to respond again because Nicki lost strictly from the meltdown she had. Not to mention her Bigfoot diss track was straight up ass.
About being emphatic to a mentally ill person:
It’s hard. I have a friend of whom I think that she has bipolar disorder.
She is finally in therapy and as far as I can tell they are working on the diagnosis or the therapist works on her accepting the diagnosis.
She sometimes makes me so mad, because in the times of what I would call mania her ego is a big as the earth and she says really wild shit.
Would you record the stuff she says at that time and play it for people, they would think it’s a clueless, entitled white lady who only cares about herself and is kind of stupid.
I try to think about it as her being in her mania phase at that times but sometimes I wonder, what if this is her real personality and her real thoughts?
It’s hard to know where the illness starts and her real personality ends. I often don’t know and I know her since the year 2000.
And at other times she is so down that she already tried to end her life in one of those phases.
It’s a wild ride with her.
