I’m often frustrated as a Dem voter because so many people on this side of the aisle are weak ass crybabies who are always desperately searching for a reason to give up that are impossible to rely on from election to election. That’s something to speak about often on this podcast too, I’m so jaded about pretending to care about what these people want since even they don’t know what the fuck that is. But, with that being said, the way the whole party immediately lined up behind Harris? I don’t remember the last time Dems (and the voters) were that organized, quick, and decisive about anything. Even Obama’s easy general election win in 2008 had the long summer of drama where he beat Clinton. Let’s hope this momentum carries through the fall but a week ago I was worried people wouldn’t understand the assignment.

*something YOU speak about often on this podcast, my bad

I learned the hard way to check who I am replying to in a email. I received a reply from a manager who I asked to do some research. When he replied, I thought I forwarded his response to another manager, talking shit about him, when actually, I hit reply and, in 4K, he saw what I thought about his response. Ooops.

That congresswoman that called VP Harris a “DEI hire” (Harriet Hageman of Wyoming) is the woman who challenged and ultimately ousted, you guessed it – former congresswoman Liz Chaney.
And yes, she should definitely check 23andMe before speaking derisively about the Vice President.

Alright, come get your hug Rod. Karen, you sure we’re not related? If you win the mega lottery, just know that you got a brother in Brooklyn who deserves 5%. I appreciate the both of you!

I never replied all at work, however, during my navy days young white kid from Idaho who was brand new from basic training. After reading the Commanding Officers weekly email to the whole command. Kid responded with a detailed message about his weekend activities and asking a question or two about work. 1st, we’re bottom of the food chain (lower enlisted). We don’t speak unless we have followed chain of command… kid got to meet and know all his senior officers by the end of the day (multiple chewed out). Plus a forever joke from everyone asking him if he had responded to emails from Admirals, Chief of Naval Ops, Defense Sec going forward. Two years later the joke was still a thing. Much better than the guy in the underwear reply tho.

Karen, I am you right now. I was mad when America elected that man as President. It has taken years of self-reflection and time to realize people will people. I keep coming back to this podcast cause you all provide facts and opinions beyond politics.
I am donating to VP Harris’ campaign and I will work the polls on November 5th.

Please keep doing what ya’ll do!

Karen you have been on fire this week and I’ve shared your every emotion from the sadness and anger to optimism.. Now I have that same feeling that we’re on the cusp of something historical. I will be donating to the Kamala Harris campaign as well.
I live in Pennsylvania and would love to see Shapiro as the VP. I voted for him after all and if they win PA would have a black governor. Shapiro is one of them ones and his clap backs are always chefs kiss. People say him being Jewish will hurt the ticket but we already have a black woman running so might as well go with the guy with a lot of charisma. Besides, republicans claim the left is antisemitic because of their stance on Palestine but with Shapiro on the ticket then what? No matter who is selected as Harris’s running mate I am fully behind them. For the first time in a long time I’m excited to vote.

The Sonya Massey shooting was horrible and only underlines why we need Harris in office because if Dump gets back in the cops are going to see it as open season..

Even from over the ocean I feel the great energy and hope about Kamala.
Here my suggestion to react to people who say negative stuff about her ( I know you love suggestions from white women)
As Rod also said, “I don’t care” is a great answer.
Don’t engage. Don’t let people shit on your positive mood.
It doesn’t matter what trolls say, and who knows if they are even voting.

I’m pretty sure that Trump will want to debate her because he is a big narcissist ( I’m pretty sure about it) and they have one big weakness , they are easily bored and need lots of new stimulation.
He know pretty surly feels envious of all the attention she gets and wants in on the action.
Narcissists have a very poor inner live and can’t just live in peace with themselves. He feels better when he has negative attention on him than just being in peace and when not a lot is happening. When nothing is happening, he feels the hole in his soul.
They need the outside world to entertain them to escape the emptiness of their souls.

I once hit reply all on a goodbye email. I said ‘ good luck in your new position, I always liked you”
Pretty harmless. Still when I noticed it, I felt absolutely terrible. The mail went to maybe 600 people. I got an email from one colleague criticizing me for it and one call. I felt bad for 2 days. Satan created reply all.

I agree with your last sentiment Apia. What is the point of reply all??? Even the most accidental benign reply all like yours causes chaos. I think you should have to opt in to that button.
