Hello Rod and Karen,
Watching Rhaenyra and her proclamations of things being destined and the gods aligning things in her favor this episode, gave me thoughts of Deanerys when we saw her getting more and more on that fuck shit on Game of Thrones, and we all know how that turned out. I kept thinking Rhaenyra is Dany without a Tyrion to kept her from going full batshit crazy for as long as humanly possible.
FYI: I think Silverwing is a girl because she stood in the pit and was positioned close to the dragon eggs. It was Ulf making noise and stepping on one of the eggs that brought her out.
Adam Vanilli of Hull is so adorable he was so eager to be somebody he bent the knee so fast Rhaenyra barely got her words out. I hope Corliss eventually acknowledges him.
Rhaenyra was so wrong for offering up them bastards to the dragons for a snack, I felt so bad for them. But it kind of underlines that war makes even some of the best of us villains although Rhaenyra isn’t a saint.
They might as well have played the curb your enthusiasm music when Aemon saw Rhae with all her dragons and he had to turn around. That was funny.
I’m keeping my fingers cross that BBL Crissy dies next week.

you mentioned not realizing the Nights Watch would be so far south in Kings Landing. if you can remember waaay back to GOT s1, Yoren was a brother of the Nights Watch and a recruiter. i believe Arya met Yoren thru Ned before Ned was arrested. when Ned was forced to publicly confess treason in the square, he saw her by the statue of Baelor and signaled to Yoren to go to her. Yoren took her away from the square, cut her hair so she looked like a boy, and took her with him and his band of misfits back to the Wall – with Hot Pie and Gendry!
lastly, am i the only one who thinks Ulf purposely went on a mission to go towards the danger? after he got knocked into the pit by Vermithor, he was by the exit but grabbed the torch and went straight for the lair! maybe it was his CTE acting up but maybe since he got punked at the tavern into going there in the first place, he was like fck it im going to my destiny! idk he almost seemed relieved when he encountered Silverwing – like he was either going to die courageous or live triumphant.
This was a very good poll. It was tough for me to pick between Adam and Hugh.
On completion of my Dragons manual, I have come to the realization that I am the prize, just as Simone Biles claimed her husband, I can be patient for a dragon to be bold in claiming a prize like me. I’m never setting foot on Dragonstone never!!!
