Wasn’t the whole hack supposed to be about a foreign party getting access to the 271 page document that they had on JD Vance? I think they vetted him, but didn’t think any of his negatives would derail his acolytes, while being sure that he would actually do what Pence was unwilling to do.
There’s absolutely no way they vetted Vance. But I don’t think Dump cares, he chose the guy who his billionaire donors wanted. Vance looks like the kind of guy who picks his nose and stares at the booger for several minutes afterwards. He probably eats it too. Weirdo.
I live in Reno,NV and can say that Virginia City where that poor guy was told about the hanging tree is actually that awful. It only switched after Trump. Before then, it was a quaint little “old style” town where our family would visit at least 3 times a year for a weekend getaway. It was so much fun, then the Trump signs popped up in all of the store windows in about 2016. Got even worse after Covid. The hubby and I went for a weekend away the fall of Covid and we walked into that SAME saloon where that guy was threatened and we had a similar threat sent outer way. We were told “We don’t allow your kind in here (slick effing smile), no masks inside. You can sit outside with that on if you want!” STILL pisses me off. We haven’t been back since. We went from seriously wanting to retire there in a nice cabin to wanting to burn the city to the ground when we left.
I also can imagine DT trying to start a civil war after loosing. But also he isn’t brave man and even with all the guns, most of his worriers are internet worriers.
And what is the alternative. A dictatorship.
The gay priest choose to have a big career in the catholic church despite knowing their stands on this topic. So I’m only somewhat sorry for him. I left the catholic church years ago without being gay myself exactly for it’s stands on this topic and other ( child abuse in the church and their stands on women in church for example)
