I’m not going to get into all of the specifics of what this makes Patrick as a person (I will say, Pat’s family makes DC’s Legion of Doom, look like some saints), but, yeah, the NFL’s just right wing AF, which is how I’ve accepted this post-Kapernick. Obviously, in a sport that literally started with niggas wearing leatherheads & coaches calling players derogatory names, it comes with the territory.
I’m so late to the party on this, but the way y’all cover Austin Dillon wrecking Joey Logano & Denny Hamlin on some Forza, Mario Kart shit, was hilarious. The purist in me is glad he won’t qualify with him being far down in driver points (even with fellow sub-30s in points driver, Harrison Burton winning & qualifying to get in NASCAR’s postseason). Football is back! College football kicked off with Florida State going out sad against to Georgia Tech on the Emerald Isle. I’d tell FSU fans to keep their chin up but Haynes King (Tech QB) was running all over FSU and next week they play Boston College and Thomas Costellanos is a vastly superior runner.
Speaking of sadness and Florida State, Colorado looking like more of a mess than last year. Deion banning reporters from asking him questions; USA Today reporting on Shedeur’s bankruptcy case after Deion dared them to write it; and had an assistant coach try to get money from the Saudi wealth fund (which makes me think Colorado is broke). At least the uncle contingent is quieter this time around.
Do y’all think Mike Tomlin is retiring or getting fired this year? It pains me to see how bad Russell Wilson and Justin Fields have become and Tomlin is trying to make it work with them? In Pittsburgh?

I love Ant, but I’m glad Magic – Magic who never says anything controversial – put that kid in his place. I get it, Ant wasn’t even born, but this is Magic Johnson, not some rando. Didn’t he see Showtime?!? Someone should send Ant a link to Game 6 of the 1980 NBA Championships when Magic jumped center. I am old and growing up in LA, my dad took me to see a few Lakers games at the Fabulous Forum during Magic’s rookie year, and when I tell you no one had ever seen anyone like Magic: A 6’9” point guard, perhaps the first positionless player. Sheesh. Also, very disappointed by Brittney Mahomes political affiliation – does this ruin things with Tay-Tay? Lastly did you see the Buffalo Bills clip where the players named random NBA players? I was surprised by how many randoms there really are, and how many are on the cusp. Is Thabo Sefalosha “random” – I guess he is?
