I’m with Karen in not being able to tolerate sugar free product mainly because most artificial sweeteners gives me migraines but they taste funny. Reduced sugar usually works for me. If you can find the right flavor and you want a soda, the Ollipop brand is pretty good.

Mark Robinson’s biggest flaw is being a super coon. To be honest, I was surprised to see he has a black wife. I wouldn’t trust a damn thing she brings to the cookout.

On the DEI front, I didn’t like Harley because they allowed so much of their apparel to include confederate flags back in the day. Never really rocked with them for that, and not surprised at them doing this. Funny thing about it is, study after study used to setup DEI initiatives in the first place pointed out that to grow the business the way most of these capitalist companies wanted to, minorities and disenfranchised groups were going to be needed to hit those growth targets. Much like the way the GOP got that report about what they needed to do and decided to focus on the short term instead by pivoting as hard away from inclusion as they could. It’s short sighted.

And on the healthy food front, I saw this post on IG that reminded me of you all talking about candied fried chicken a while back: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_iwHeVu6pB/?igsh=MWJoeTQ4YmtiM3UxaQ==

You asked why would Harley Davidson make such a rash decision. I’d wager it’s cause they lack diversity in their decision rooms. They have all those homogenous people leading the charge and if there is any diversity they’re probably keeping quiet to keep their job. See: Pepsi ad when that Kardashian or Jenner feller was trying to bring people together through her offering a coke during the BLM protest. Totally tone deaf, and Pepsi had people in the room that knew better. They just went with the crowd cause the company manages with an iron fist.

As a trained Ninja & certified black belt in the arts of avoiding the loo over 7 hours flights over the Atlantic. Crying babes won’t break me, however a passenger explosion of diarrhea ain’t in the manual. The airline got to upgrade me to first class for life as part of my recovery from Witnessing such shit.

Oh btw big shout-out for recommending The Prosecutors. I had never gotten into True Crime podcast nor did I bother with the Adnan story until I listened to their break down. It was you who recommended that podcast, another solid recommended by Rod (I got Karen’s comics on standby). Play that Rod is right!

I have not been a customer of Lowes for years because of their terrible DEI policies. In 2011 when the reality show “All American Muslim” came out on TLC, Lowes withdrew their advertising from that show. That told me all I need to know. We can’t do everything perfectly all the time, but I do what I can. When I know better, I do better. Having a DEI initiative is literally the least a company can do – it can be an aspect of their already-existing Human Resources department, but they’re making more of a statement by saying they will NOT adhere or implement these practices than by actually doing them. Fuck ’em!

I never used a check in my life, they seem to me as old fashioned as messenger pigeons or smoke signs.

    I’m not young, I’m european.

I just used one to pay off my tax amendment the other week and it has been such an ordeal. I’m full of all the regrets. Checks can burn in hell unless they coming to me.
