The CMAs knew exactly what they were doing right down to nominating Shaboozy who appeared on her album so they can claim that they’re not racist. And they nominated Post Malone who up until a couple years ago was a hip hop artist. It’s very telling that Morgan Wallen who is an open racist has so many noms. They have a grudge against Beyonce for sure but that’s okay, she doesn’t need their acknowledgement. But I think it would be hilarious if she gets nominated in the country category for the Grammys. That would be the ultimate f you if she wins.
I’m not surprised by the CMA snub of Beyoncé. I really enjoyed the album. I actually liked it better than Act I. I admire how she made something because she was interested in exploring a different genre and expanding her artistry.
Also the women who allow their husband to dictate who they vote for drive me crazy. Especially because I’m a social worker and one of my social work colleagues does this! She voted for Trump even though he is literally against EVERYTHING social workers stand for. I don’t get it and couldn’t be married to someone who voted for Trump 2-3 times.
What is so sad about the Haitian immigrants is because Trump and Vance keep bringing up Springfield because a Haitian immigrant hit a school bus, causing it to flip which killed an 11 year old. The father had to have a press release recently basically saying, please stop using my son’s death for political clout and hate mongering. Which frankly, he wasn’t obligated to do. He could have kept quiet but he felt the need to speak up to be like KEEP MY SON’S name out of your fucking mouth!!!

Wonton wrappers are likely found in the produce section … that’s where I’ve found them before. I love that my grocery store Wegmans has a good app where you can search for your product, and then it tells you what aisle to go to. Very helpful.
Ms. Henry has been my guilty TikTok pleasure for a minute. She is a hoot. We have her in Detroit. I won’t go as far as saying she is woven into the fabric, but I also won’t say she can’t wash AND season some chicken. If she ends up as the teacher in an all Black school, the kids in her class will be above grade level at the end and parents won’t ever get called down to the school over any behavior issues.
