Feral Gen X kid here, and I drove the car on multiple occasions when I was older than 8, but not older than 11, and only to one place, the Scott’s grocery store. I’m only 5’3″ now, so you know I was really short, but just big enough to get my feet to the pedals. and peer over the dashboard. It was a couple of turns on blocks in my neighborhood and then a long straightaway to cross the street to get to the store. This was with the full knowledge of my mother, because I would only go there to get her some cigarettes! Which were sold to me because I had a note from her! S*** was wild back then. My reward were full size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, which they had in a big cardboard box at the entrance and they were four for a dollar. Those were the days!

As for the Brit Bruvs, I met the brother who owns the production company behind their podcast & a couple other big ones in the UK during the Afros and Audio podcast festival last year. Very left leaning and BLACK coy, I recommended one of their newest productions with two of UKs top Black journos behind the pay wall recently. So that’s why I was surprised to see the lads on Schultz, if the owner of their production coy shows up to the next Afros and Audio, I’ll ask him. That company is contracted by the BBC and other British media to produce content now (that’s how big its gotten). So except his company no longer handles behind the scenes for these lads, I can’t be as hard as I normally would. But from the content I’ve seen, it was good that the boys apologized quickly and a good one. The other podcasters with the company might have been like wtf (maybe not the Hiphop one IYKYK). Especially the political ones, they are HUGE & LEFT.
