Diddy is going down. He’s definitely going to jail because the Feds rarely prosecute cases they think is a slam dunk. I know so many people are focused on the 1000 bottles of lube and baby oil and making that the focal point for laughs and some of the content I’ve seen made me chuckle but what the people are forgetting is how Diddy was drugging people, how he was violent and abusive to his subordinates, how he blackmailed people and coerced them into participating in these acts against their will, how people have mysteriously died in connection to him and how he shot a woman in his face and paid people off to send an innocent man to prison for that crime.
What I find frustrating about this is the people who claim that being “flawed” out is the same thing as what Diddy was doing. It is not. Most of those women with airplanes in their bios consent to that. I remember groupie tales on this show and hating ass Terrell Jones, although I think Terrell would probably be on Diddy’s side. Those groupie tales were nothing like what Diddy did.
So people like Boosie and Faizon Love really need to shut the fuck up. Also Faizon Love should worry about his health instead of worrying about whether flying someone out is legal or not. It’s not normal to be so out of breath just from talking.
It’s so weird to see some form of consequences for a predator!
Incredible show! Thank you, Karen and Rod. Regarding Home Depot, I believe they are the company we don’t like as they have been racist for a while and then the CEO went MAGA. Lowes has had a Black CEO for a while. However, they did get rid of their apparent DEI program. Despite that, I think Home Depot is worse given the CEO’s full-chest support of the Grand Dragon from Queens. I really wish we had some Black-owned hardware stores. The closest I can get in my small town is Rocky’s ACE Hardware which employs two Black women.
Thanks for addressing that Chicago Blacks won’t vote for Harris comment. As an antidote, when the NABJ was hosting Trump, folks were outside protesting and yelling about VP Harris, including a white woman calling her a ‘bitch”. When I tell you this Black woman dressed her and her Black friend down. She said. “You won’t be bringing that here. How dare you call her out of her name.” And she sent a glare to the woman’s Black friend. Maybe she is the lone Kamala Harris vote in Chicago since no one is voting for her. I wonder if that commenter was Black or if he was one of those fake Democrats that give backhanded compliments to Trump and backhanded/negging “compliments” to Harris. There is a lot of tomfoolery going on in these social media streets.

I was also coming to point out that although most folks think of Arthur Blank when it comes to Home Depot, the other key founder, Bernie Marcus, was/is a big supporter of all 3 of 45’s presidential campaigns and other conservative causes. He’s often popped up in the news for some comment that he’s made. But I wasn’t aware of the current CEO being on that program, too. Not surprising, though. So picking b/t Lowes and HD on those matters gets…complicated.

It really shows how cavalier Diddy is. He thinks he’s untouchable since he has been so far. When his property was raided and items confiscated, and he was not arrested for several months, he should have seen the writing on the wall. Sure, fleeing would make him look like a guilty man, but he would have been a free guilty man living it up with Russell Simmons or Roman Polanski. I’m not saying I wanted him to flee, of course I want him to face justice – but it more shows how long he has believed he’s been above the law. He probably still doesn’t think the case will stick despite being denied bail.

Thank yall for featuring the story of Amber Nicole Thurman in Atlanta and discussing the ramifications of anti-abortion laws. It is extremely important for people to know that these laws are truly life-threatening. I do want to clarify something Karen said – the pills taken to help in miscarriage or for abortion are not Plan B. Plan B is a completely different medication that is actually closer to birth control pills and does not cause abortion or help in the setting of a miscarriage. I work in reproductive health care (I’m a midwife) and just want to help make sure the correct information is out there.
