Donald Trump’s down so bad, he’s regurgitating tired, annoying arguments about violence in video games. The Supreme Court even settled this shit with their 7-2 vote (Brown v. Merchants) in 2011. A barely at-the-time liberal court, I might add.

Haven’t caught up the latest Agatha episode but I did a rewatch of Thor: Love & Thunder. I get it’s not everyone’s cup of Joe (and it’s understandable, especially in that unfocused first act & Gorr needed to kill some gods on-screen) but the parts in it work, especially with the process of loss & Mighty Thor’s overall arc. Even Russell Crowe cooking it up as Zeus worked for me & the idea of Gods basically protecting their own had some heft. Believe it or not, I’ve seen it four times & continue to be impressed with the phase fourth phase of survivor’s guilt/loss aspect of the journey. Thor 4, even for its faults (and Taika’s petulance) has some heart.

As for gaming, I’m starting Tomb Raider 3 Remaster & it reminded me why attempting to play the original version on the PS1 was intimidating & unenjoyable but completion gene unlocked, baby. I even plan on getting 4-6 starting next year, because I like pain! Peace!

As someone with the middle name “Kil” I will continue to sit out the discussion on Nominative Determination of middle names in relation to serial killers and assassins… [slings shovel over shoulder and leaves the the comment section]

What up! I didn’t purchase the PS5 because of the supply/scalper craze. I was a Sony only player back in the day. I have not played anything since Ghost of Tsushima. I enjoyed the PS4 games but PS5’s selection is minuscule. I was remaked out from Final Fantasy 7 and Resident Evil. Karen and you have proven that you can’t age out of gaming. I am retired from gaming rn because I can’t find time as my family has expanded and work sucks my energy and I am learning to play the keyboard. I do not like battle royals and it seems that is were the fleecing is greatest. I’m about to begin reading Beserk for the first time. If Sony boosts their collection in the future I may come out of retirement. How do you both keep from getting fatigued by the amount of books, shows and games?
