I get why the Harris campaign came out with a plan specifically for black men but in my opinion the loud ones claiming they had an issue with her in the first place were never going to vote for her. I think the loud and ignorant voices are being amplified on social media especially on Twitter because it gets clicks and engagement.
I didn’t listen to Obama’s speech but I think if people use his words as an excuse not to vote for Harris again they were looking for an excuse. I’ve seen people online men and women saying they were waiting for people to come for Obama. Mostly those Ados people and bad faith actors. People have short term memories and will probably forget about this when the next big news story comes along.
Already voted for Harris, but one of the reasons I liked her as a candidate in 2000 and as The candidate in 2024 is that her plans have layers. Take her housing plan. It addresses the actual issue (property management & investment firms buying up property, inflating prices, and jacking up rents) but the part you hear about is the perceived problem of lack of housing. With inflation, getting the fed to raise interest to address the perceived issue of monetary liquidity (a very small part of the current inflation issue) while also going after price gouging (the primary cause of inflation this time).
I see the Opportunity Agenda for Black Men in a similar vein, but even more levels. Using this “opportunity” agenda as a back door to providing much-needed regulation to the scam industry of cryptocurrency. It will make it much less of the wild-west scam-infested gambler’s den that it currently is and make them actual follow some of the laws.

Hey Rod and Karen! This was a great episode. You hit it out the park with the comments on many minorities wanting access to whiteness. I think that’s where we are right now. Along with people wanting access to the benefits that white privilege affords, I think many also covet the power to discriminate against others.
As for the coons and the nonsense they spew online, I wouldn’t be surprised if it influenced Obama to speak on black men and voting. As you know these charlatans like to present themselves as the voice of the black community especially black men. Their videos are shared online and often go viral, which increases their popularity. So now they are taken seriously.
At 57:05 Rod said, “There are so many coons and so little time.” I need that on a t-shirt. LOL.

As someone who has attended a My Brother’s Keeper event in the past. I can testify that Rod was not only right, the program also helped Black Veterans (that’s how I got to participate in 2017). Also, the group that I referenced in the Eric Adams comment leader said something that got my ears standing but when Rod was reading the Black Male Agenda from Madam VP made sense. He said “I told the Kamala Harris campaign that we were tired of how they were talking to us (Black Men) when they met with us.” Claims that the meeting was about 3 weeks ago. There was other comments about P. Diddy and co that made me realize that I got to eat and bounce. So when you got to crypto I just burst out laughing. Great episode and thanks again for the breakdown.
