Hi Rod, Karen and Jaquille O’Neal. UGH! Did you hear this interview with Angel Reese and Shaq? The TNT Crew 100 canNOT cover the WNBA. Shaq was lowkey creepy saying to Angel — who could be his child — ““Bro, imagine you in the same little ass shorts you had on at the Wild ‘N Out show dunking,” and then was insulting the women saying they should lower the rims so they could dunk more. Just gross and infuriating — and he thought he was complimenting her. She tried to move it along but sheesh. They really gotta do some media training. Thanks for being a reasonable voice in all this crazy WNBA talk. Link if you want it: https://www.thecut.com/article/what-did-shaq-say-about-angel-reese-on-her-podcast.html

Happy negro-ween Rod,and Karen and jyrique Stephenson
Oh man oh man! Mama always said it ain’t over till it’s over!!! Tyrique Stephenson was talking shit to the crowd and forgot his job! Not only did he forget his job! He was the one to bat or deflect the ball to the Washington commander who ultimately caught the easiest ever ball in Washington racial slurs history. I even saw a pic of ppl in the crowd pointing to the field as if to say “bra, you know they bout to snap the ball right?”it was definitely one of them unforgivable mistakes and losses. And as we speak of losses, some one just lost their job! Anthony Richardson, rookie QB of the colts lost his job to an old white man by the name. Of Joseph Flacco! He was playing poorly but then in the 3rd quarter of the game, home boy asked to be taken out because he was “TIRED” well going forward he shouldn’t be tired anymore cause he will get plenty of rest on that bench. Peyton manning would never.
In the nfl news, I’m hearing Carolina is gauging Bryce young’s trade value, in year 2, what u guys think is the best option here? It’s definitely giving Trey Lance.

So as we move on the nba, Rod I think Boston coach, Joe mazulla listens to balls deep sports. And I also think his favorite segment is “uh-oh these niggaz is fighting!” He likes that segment so much, he wants to incorporate it in the actual game. Lol there is a new society within the nba called the “i ain’t playing in no back to backs no more “ club.
It was founded by Kawhi Leonard. Its vice president is Ben Simmons, and its newly elected treasurer is Joel Embiid. Philly fans are mad, that he played in the Olympics for free , and has yet to play this season but to then saying he isn’t okay in back to back. Going forward, is a bit of a frustrating thing for a fan of Philly.
And lasty, speaking of going forward , the rumblings are getting louder and louder that giannis trying to leave Milwaukee. He has been linked to nets and heat! But I’ll tell you the problem. It’s doc rivers, it’s been all downhill since he became the coach! If giannis were to get traded, depending on what they got it would be Portland all over again for dame! And even worse could you imagine if giannis got traded to Miami? The same place dame wanted to really go in the first place? That would be wild.

You guys have a great weekend

    Hey Rod, Karen and Justin

Just wanted to chime in on what you said about the coach that left mid season on BDS 535 . I have a little bit of knowledge and personal experience my son plays college football and I’ve seen a few things too. But I can say you all are super close on your take the other part missing is

    1. Some of these kids turn into Jimmy Butler when he forced his trade from the wolves to the 76ers between the scholarship money and NIL they feel untouchable and can and will enter the transfer portal and aren’t quiet about it at all. I seen a kid who transferred in from Montana state talk super crazy to the coaches about his reps because he was a rental and the coaches knew that so they gave him more reps to make him happy but he’s lowkey trash but they were light at a position so they had to make him happy

    2. Coaches have to bend over every which way to make the school happy and players happy if not they get fired. My son was recruited by 20 schools 5 fcs and 12 d2 and 3 d3 schools all but one of the coaches that recruited him are still working for the school some left for better jobs most got fired because a good player transferred or they had a loosing season contracts are 5 years for coaches if you got 2 loosing seasons your gone it’s about to happen to my son’s coaching staff again

So I bet that coach who quit mid season had one or both of those things happen and he sees the writing on the wall and said let me keep my money and just leave before i get fired end of the season it makes the headlines etc and I can’t get another job next season

Sorry for being long winded… love you guys thanks for everything

Yo, why Chris Gatling had to catch a stray during the Nets broadcast? Y’all probably weren’t watching because the Hornets would have been on at the same time, but it was during the Nets/Magic game, and somehow the topic of ‘killers’ comes up, you know how some players just have certain teams’ number? And Ian Eagle says, out of the fucking blue, “You know, Chris Gatling, when he was on Dallas, was a Nets killer. Then, the Nets acquired him… and he was still a Nets killer…”

Switching gears, I have recently developed this odd habit of looking up all of the broadcasters for whatever game I’m watching, because I want to know the names of the announcers when I’m talking bad about them (I guess I got a little bit of Chris Lamberth in me in that regard). Anyway, long story short, this is how I found out that there is a retired Major League pitcher named Joe Smith, which is, in turn, how I found out that they were still making white Joe Smiths… I thought that they had let us have that one?

Regarding Jemele Hill keeping a job, she’s got a new podcast called Spolitics, produced by iHeart Podcasts and the Unbothered Network that came out this month. It’s a weekly sports and politics podcast that launched this month; first guest was Dan Le Batard and second guest was WBNAPA President Nneka Ogwumike. I like it so far.
