I have never had Churches chicken because I don’t trust that they’re so big for that price point. Those have to be genetically mutated birds. But I have had the biscuits. They are really good. But every time I ever saw a churches I was deep in the hood. And not just the regular hood, the part where you may see an occasional body on the street. I have never seen a churches in the suburbs. Maybe they’re trying to rebrand by including the Texas chicken part.

I appreciate Rod’s commentary on the Blake Lively situation. I understood what was going on and it was cool to hear a man in defense of a woman. Rod is the greatest real talk. Just wondering if the movie is even worth watching.

Still catching up on my backlog of episodes, and I’ve heard Karen mention multiple times about how excited she is to see Tyler, the Creator in concert. Well, a random glance at your timeline showed what I presume to be a picture from one of his albums, which resulted in me having a “Who is this nigga?” reaction. Fast-forward to an internet rabbit hole later, and I discovered that I have apparently spent years thinking that Tyler, the Creator and Chance the Rapper were the same person.

I don’t know why I felt the need to share this, but I guess it counts as feedback, from a certain point of view?

Rod, it matters a lot to hear someone (especially a man) say out loud they’re not going to be tricked by Justin Baldoni’s tactics. As a woman, it really matters to hear at least one male person who isn’t being swayed by his weird clapback campaign. You laid out all the “it doesn’t matter” points so clearly…. He engaged a PR firm to “destroy” her. That is ENOUGH. No whataboutism here, none of that “maybe they both suck” concessions. Fuck that guy, fake ass feminist.

    Im late!
I found it interesting that Hasan Mihaj presented Justin with the ” greatest feminist” award after all the other cast members refused to promote the movie with him. It doesn’t make me feel better about Hasan.

Hasan also platformed Andrew Yang as a serious candidate when he still had a show on Netflix. I used to like his stand-up based on being an immigrant, outside of that, I don’t like this man especially after hearing talking about Democrats having to earn our votes. I have suspected him. Knowing how he runs his mouth when it comes to politics (Russian agent imo), the fact that Baldoni referred to him as a “soul brother” is all I need.
